Florida’s Heartland REDI, Inc. has been awarded a grant from the State of Florida to conduct in in-depth, multidisciplinary feasibility study of property located in DeSoto County Florida for Economic Development Purposes. The subject property consists of approximately 800 acres, eighty (80) existing buildings, and numerous ancillary structures.
Scope
- To provide a thorough and complete analysis of 80 existing buildings located on the complex/property. Components of the review shall include a comprehensive analysis of the current condition of each building to include: Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and screening for asbestos and/or Lead Base Paint.
- Locate and evaluate existing underground utility infrastructure and evaluate condition of all existing paved roads throughout the complex. Identify power load capacity for entire complex in coordination with the utility provider. The Consultant shall identify all relevant on-site infrastructure and provide a comprehensive report of the current condition and deficiencies. Consultant shall provide a comprehensive report to include professional cost estimates to address deficiencies of any existing infrastructure.
